Adult Family Sessions...

It's always a challenge getting several adults together for a session. Think about it: two parents with two adult children who are both married. Scheduling a session around six work schedules; add in hobbies and extracurriculars? Some may work nights while some work business hours or even multiple jobs. It can be a nightmare - but that doesn't disqualify the importance of taking pictures of your adult family. And that is exactly how the Daniel Family felt.

Molly reached out to me because her family didn't have very many pictures all together since after her and her brother both marrying and adding two new members to the family. They wanted something more casual and representative of who they are - so we decided to take them at my farm! We managed to snap a few of her and her husband, her brother and his new wife, and we focused a bit of extra attention on her parents - the patriarch and matriarch of the family. She told me her parents didn't have many pictures together since they got married - so we fixed that! Some of the "props" we used include a quilt that the family brought, a bench they also brought, and my husbands old truck.

We ended the session over by our grain bins. We loaded up the truck with the bench and the family and drove back there. The men let me tell them the best place to put the bench, and Barry made sure to give us some good laughs before the session was over!
